Drive I-35W north until the suburbs start to blur, and you will find yourself in Keller, a place where the main intersection is a HEB parking lot and the neighborhood watch runs on Nextdoor. This guide covers the real spread of this town, from a taqueria worth circling the block for its lamb quesabirria to a yellow house pouring nutty Mexican coffee while plotting community events.

We ate through the lunch rush crowds, I downed a creamsicle margarita, and we all left our card in the car for the second trip to the salsa bar. From breakfast to that Tuesday taco deal at a BBQ joint, this is where you should be eating in the 76244.
