Brunch in Grapevine can get complicated. You have the downtown wine trail crowd, hotel guests, and locals who remember when there was nothing out here but gravel and grapevines.

I spent serious time eating across this town, and the range is real: brisket from Texas Best Smokehouse that pulls apart with a whisper, or the bourbon peach French toast at Hemingway that drinks like a cocktail. The mughlai chicken at Tabla is worth planning your whole day around.

Here is where you should be eating this weekend.

It feels like a neighborhood spot that actually cares. The breakfast menu covers the classics without fuss. If you want a solid, welcoming start to your day in Grapevine, this is a good bet.
